Megapixels:
A megapixel is one million pixels. It is commonly used to describe the resolution of digital cameras. For example, a 7.2 megapixel camera is capable of capturing roughly 7,200,000 pixels. The higher the megapixel number, the more detail the camera can capture. Therefore, the megapixel count is a significant specification to look for when buying a digital camera.

Overview

The Fujifilm X-T3 Mirrorless Digital Camera comes with advanced features that make it a weapon of choice for professional photographers and video shooters alike. Designed for X-mount lenses, the camera sports a 26.1 MP APS-C-format X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and X-Processor 4 engine that work as a team to deliver vibrant imagery with vivid color. The camera is upgraded from its predecessor to capture UHD 4K videos at 60 fps. With the continuous shooting mode, the camera takes 11 burst shots per second with mechanical shutter and 30 burst shots with the electronic shutter. The Film Simulation modes, such as classic chrome and Acros, give a unique look to the photos and videos. With the dual SD card slots, you can double the overall shooting time of the camera. Transfer captured photos to smartphones or operate the camera remotely with the built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Optics and Focus

This new Fujifilm mirrorless camera is compatible with X-series lenses. You can select the exposure metering method from average, center-weighted average, multi-zone, and spot. The phase-detection autofocus system utilizes the 2160000 AF points that nearly cover the entire screen area. You can use the autofocus function of the camera in low light conditions down to EV -3. The camera enables the use of Face- and Eye-Detection AF in the AF-C mode and during video recording.

Sensor and Screen

The Fujifilm X-T3 produces high-resolution results with its 26.1 MP APS-C-format X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor. As the low-pass filter is omitted from the sensor's X-Trans design, the resultant images boast improved sharpness. With the X-Trans sensor construction, you get to experience an organic film-like feel to the photos. The sensor also restricts moiré and aliasing. You can compose the scene and review captured photos or videos comfortably with the 3.0-inch, 1.04m-dot LCD touchscreen. Also, the 3-way tilting movement of the LCD lets you shoot from high and low angles. The 3.69m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder provides crystal clear eye-level monitoring. Additionally, the maximum refresh rate up to 100 fps allows you to make fast pan or tilt movements without noticing lag.

Image and Video

The large sensor design than its predecessor makes the Fujifilm X-T3 produce 6240×4160 pixel resolution images. Apart from the JPEG format, you can use the RAW shooting mode to get more flexibility when editing the image in post. Turn the drive dial to the movie mode to record videos in UHD 4K at 60 fps. You can output the video signal to an external recorder via the HDMI output in 4:2:2 10-bit. With the F-Log Gamma recording, the X-T3 shoots videos in a flat profile to capture a wide dynamic range that can be adjusted during post-production using LUTs packs. In the continuous shooting mode, the camera clicks burst photos at 11 fps with the mechanical shutter and 30 fps with the electronic shutter. Apply Film Simulation modes and grain effects to give the classic look of famous Fujifilm rolls to the photos.

Other Features

The built-in Bluetooth 4.2 LE and Wi-Fi allows you to send pictures to smartphones or operate this Fujifilm camera from a distance. Attach external flash units to PC terminal or hot shoe contact and synchronize with the shutter at 1/250th of a second. You can use the X-T3 camera in extreme climates, thanks to its lightweight magnesium-alloy body with weather sealing. The Fujifilm X-T3 camera runs on an NP-W126S Li-ion battery pack.
