Megapixels:
A megapixel is one million pixels. It is commonly used to describe the resolution of digital cameras. For example, a 7.2 megapixel camera is capable of capturing roughly 7,200,000 pixels. The higher the megapixel number, the more detail the camera can capture. Therefore, the megapixel count is a significant specification to look for when buying a digital camera.

Overview

The Fujifilm X-H1 Digital Camera is the brand's newest member of its X-series family. You can mount various Fujifilm X-mount lenses to this camera. The camera boasts the 24.3 MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS III sensor and EXR Processor Pro to provide high-quality imagery as well as fast response. This digital camera can record DCI 4K videos. Additionally, the 120fps slow-motion videos offer 1080p resolution. The X-H1 offers an improved autofocus performance in low light condition than its predecessors. With this camera, you get 400% dynamic range setting of up to 12 stops and 200 Mbps high bit rate recording option. The camera features in-body image stabilization that compensates for the camera shakes for up to 5.5 stops. Thanks to the Flicker Reduction mode, you can shoot sports events indoors with high shutter speeds.

Optics and Focus

You can fit Fujifilm X mount lenses with this camera. The mechanical and electronic shutters options are provided to reduce the effect of vibrations to contribute the in-body image stabilization. The intelligent autofocus system uses the updated AF algorithm to ensure accuracy for phase-detection even in low light. Moreover, you can stop down the lens aperture from F8 to F11 while having phase-detection AF working properly.

Sensor and Screen

The Fujifilm X-H1 comes with an APS-C-size X-Trans CMOS III sensor that provides vibrant images and videos. You can frame the shot or playback recorded media on the 3.0-inch 1.04m-dot LCD screen that can be tilted in all three directions to support shooting from different angles. The camera also has a 3.69m-dot electronic viewfinder with a 0.75× magnification. A sub-LCD screen is located at the top of the camera, which shows current shutter speed, aperture, ISO, exposure mode, white balance, and other camera settings.

Image and Video

This Fuji camera can record DCI 4K as well as Full HD videos. You can choose the 120 fps mode to record 1080p videos in slow motion. The EXR Processor Pro boosts the camera performance to support the video as well as burst mode recording. It also offers 400% dynamic range and 200 Mbps high bit rate recording. You can streamline your workflow with the F-log SD card recording. The camera features ETERNA, a film simulation mode that allows you to shoot videos with cinematic aesthetics. This mode produces understated colors and rich shadow tones to give flexibility during post-production. The camera has flicker reduction modes that keep the exposure stable when shooting burst images in fluorescent and mercury lighting.

Other Features

This camera allows you to enlarge the images with dedicated buttons located on the rear side. You can mount an external flash to the top hot shoe and synchronize it with the shutter at 1/250th of a second. The camera has a leaf-Spring and Summer switch and a new on-off button. This new Fujifilm camera has a 25% thicker magnesium alloy body than the previous X-series models. The camera also is resistant to dust and moisture, and it can work at low temperatures up to -10° C.
