The Dual Pixel CMOS AF is equipped with phase-detection technology for focusing on subjects automatically, with a combination of speed and accuracy. The DIGIC 7 image processor can render imagery with immense quality, at a high speed. The combination IS function blends with the 5-axis image-stabilization technology for capturing images without any blur. Use the inbuilt NFC, WiFi, and Bluetooth connectivity facilities to transfer imagery to many devices with similar compatibility.

Optics and Focus

The Canon EOS M6 is equipped with a 15-45 mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM lens that comes with its own image-stabilization technology for taking pictures with minimal blur. The included caps, E-49 and EB, protect the lens from external damage, when not in use. The Dual Pixel, phase-detection CMOS AF enables you to focus on subjects automatically with immense speed and accuracy. You can adjust the ISO sensitivity in the range of 100-25,600.

Sensor and Screen

The EOS M6 from Canon has a 24.2 MP CMOS (APS-C) sensor that enables you to shoot Full HD videos and high-quality stills. The 3-inch tiltable LCD touchscreen comes with a brilliant resolution and an intuitive interface for viewing captured content and browsing menus with a great deal of clarity.

Image and Video

This Canon camera not only shoots images at an impressive resolution, but also records Full HD videos at 60p. The combination IS function combines with the 5-axis image-stabilization technology for shooting blur-free videos and stills, effortlessly. You can shoot images continuously at maximum burst rates of 7 fps without AF lock, and 9 fps with AF lock. Rendering imagery at a rapid speed with outstanding quality is the DIGIC 7 image processor.

Other Features

The built-in WiFi, NFC, and Bluetooth connectivity options in the EOS M6 enable you to transfer your captured content to a majority of similarly compatible devices. The controls and five functional dials are easy to use, thus making it hassle-free to operate the camera. The EM-300DB strap prevents the camera from accidental drops, whereas the R-F-4 cover protects it from any damage. Powering this camera for a respectable duration on a single charge is the LP-E17 battery pack that can be charged with the included LC-E17 charger.

Elements / Groups:
The individual pieces of glass that form the overall optical construction. Most lenses have between four and eleven elements to bend the light rays to ensure a perfectly formed image appears on the light sensitive surface, such as a film or CCD. The elements are arranged in groups and may be seen in specification sheets as, for example, 6 elements in 4 groups. That configuration may have two single elements and the other four grouped in pairs.
