Overview

Enhance your photography experience with the Canon EOS 6D Mark II Digital SLR camera. It comes with an EF 24–105mm f/3.5–5.6 IS STM Lens. The camera renders highly-quality photographs and videos even in low light, using its 26.2 MP CMOS sensor and DIGIC 7 image processor. A 45-point all-cross-type AF system and a Dual Pixel CMOS AF sensor facilitate accurate focusing. The 3.0-inch Vari-angle touchscreen LCD and an optical viewfinder allow you to analyze scenes before taking the final shot. For sharing media and remote triggering, WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC functions are provided in the camera. This camera comes with other useful accessories like the LP-E6N (OTH) battery pack with cover, LC-E6 charger, EW-EOS6DMKII camera strap, and eyecup Eb.

Optics and Focus

This Canon camera comes with the 24–105mm f/3.5–5.6 IS STM Lens that is made with 17 elements arranged in 13 groups, including 2 aspherical elements and 1 ED element that help reduce chromatic as well as spherical aberrations. An optimized coating is applied on each lens element for blocking internal reflections and ensuring rich contrast. This camera lens offers near-silent and accurate autofocusing with its Stepping AF motor. In addition, the camera’s 45-point all-cross-type AF system and Dual Pixel CMOS AF sensor help in getting a moving subject in focus. A pleasing bokeh quality is provided by the rounded, seven-blade diaphragm of the lens. The optical image stabilizer further reduces camera shakes up to four stops when shooting handheld.

Sensor and Screen

The Canon EOS 6D Mark II has a 26.2 MP CMOS sensor and a DIGIC 7 image processor that render amazing picture quality and vividness in color. The maximum ISO of the camera stands at 40000, making it convenient to shoot in varied lighting conditions. Whether shooting from a high angle or a frog’s eye level, the camera’s 3.0-inch tilting LCD screen lets you view and analyze scenes comfortably. The 0.71× optical viewfinder, which offers a screen coverage of 98%, provides diopter adjustment from -3.0 to +1.0 m-1. Other important information such as AF points and aspect ratio can also be seen in the viewfinder.

Image and Video

The Canon EOS 6D Mark II captures 14-bit images with a resolution of 6240×4160 dpi in RAW and JPEG formats. This camera can record 1080p videos at a frame rate of 60 fps. You may use the continuous shooting mode for photographing at a rate of 6.5 fps as well. You may also choose an appropriate option from the provided picture styles and white-balance modes to add a unique character to your captured photos.

Other Features

The Canon EOS 6D Mark II comes with three wireless technologies, viz, WiFi, NFC, and Bluetooth 4.1 BLE. They can be used for sharing images and videos to other devices and operating the camera using a wireless controller. The camera also lets you print images directly from a wireless PictBridge-certified printer. You may use the GPS in the Canon 6D by pairing up your smartphone or GPS receiver with the camera. This camera has a sturdy construction with the battery compartment, memory card slot, lens mount, and terminals well covered to keep dust and water out.

Elements / Groups:
The individual pieces of glass that form the overall optical construction. Most lenses have between four and eleven elements to bend the light rays to ensure a perfectly formed image appears on the light sensitive surface, such as a film or CCD. The elements are arranged in groups and may be seen in specification sheets as, for example, 6 elements in 4 groups. That configuration may have two single elements and the other four grouped in pairs.
