It boasts an all-new optical design, which comprises five elements in four groups, along with an ultra-high index, tantalum-based optical glass element. This booster offers a 0.71× magnification which helps reduce the crop factor of the camera from 1.5× to 1.07×. It booster helps the lens deliver amazing optical performance with improved corner sharpness and distortion, as well as reduced vignetting. As this speed booster is powered by the camera body itself, no external power source is required. The LED light on it indicates the operation mode in use, optical image-stabilization activity, and communication status.
