Overview

Engineered to produce excellent sound quality for videos recorded in a DSLR and other compact cameras, the Azden SMX-15 Powered Shotgun Video Microphone provides a strong, clean audio signal into your camera without turning up the noisy preamp. It features a wide frequency response ranging from 40 Hz to 20 KHz for producing a full, natural audio. The integrated shock absorbing shoe mount isolates the microphone from the camera motor and the handling noise. It also comes with a 1/4-20 thread at the bottom for mounting on boom poles and other camera accessories. Powering this microphone are two AA-sized batteries.
