Martin Bluhm

Martin started with photography in 1985 after inheriting his first film SLR camera (Canon FTb) which he still owns. In 2002, he upgraded to digital photography and specialized in specific areas of Fine Art Photography including micro/macro, infrared, and B&W photography. Martin is also a passionate architecture, nature and landscape photographer. Additionally he is enjoying teaching in selected topics of photography. Martin’s work was last exhibited in 2010 at the YMCA Arts Center in Berwyn/PA; he also published some of his photos in journals and books, for example in “A Global History of Architecture”, John Wiley & Sons, 2011. As person with a science background, he tries to combine technical and creative aspects in his photography. Light is the essential part when he takes photos, and the trick is to capture it in an appealing and expressive way. He wants to reveal an atmosphere and his feeling at the time when the photo was taken. His work as an artist is fulfilled when you are amazed by his photos!
