Overview

Speed up your system speed or store large video files any time with the SanDisk 1TB Extreme Portable USB 3.1 Type-C External SSD. This bus-powered SSD connects to USB 3.1 compatible systems. Its exFAT preformatting offers compatibility with Windows 10, 8.1, and 7 along with macOS High Sierra, Sierra, and El Capitan. A USB Type-C to Type-C cable and USB Type-C to Type-A adapter is also provided to use the SSD with both current and legacy systems. The SSD has a reading speed up to 550 Mbps that allows quick transfer of large files. This SanDisk external SSD has an IP-55 rated shell that resists water flow up to 30 kPA for 3 minutes and 1500 g of shock. The SSD holds itself against 5 gRMS of vibration at 10–2000 Hz. Also, the SSD withstands accidental drops from a height of up to 6.5 and can function in a temperature range from 32 to 113°F.
