Overview
The Fujifilm INSTAX Wide 300 Instant camera is a wide angle instant camera that uses large format INSTAX instant films. It has a contemporary and professional design that helps in composing shots better and allows you to handle the camera more comfortably. The optical viewfinder of the camera makes it simple to compose shots perfectly. It has a lens ring dial with a two-range focus zone setting. The camera also has tripod sockets for easy mounting.
Optics and Focus
The camera has a retractable lens with two components and two elements. The focal length of the camera is 95 mm which lets you compose shots up to the mid-telephoto range with perfection. The closeup lens adapter which is included in the camera kit can be used for macro photography at a distance as near as 15.5 inches from the subject. The Motor driven two range switching focus system gives you a focus range of 0.9 mm to 3 m in normal mode and 3 m to infinity in landscape mode.
Display
The camera has an LCD screen that displays the number of unexposed films available, provides access to the light and dark control, and also indicates when the fill-in flash mode is on.
Image quality
The new Instax Wide 300 has a built in electronic flash which automatically adjusts the light intensity depending on the distance to the subject. It also gives you features like fill flash which compensates the light when shooting the subject in a back-lit composition. The light and dark control helps you to add high and low key effects in the picture.
Other Features
The camera uses the Instax Wide instant film which is double the size of the Instax mini film, making it ideal fashion photography, group shots, landscape, business, law enforcement and record keeping. The camera is powered by AA size 1.5V alkaline batteries that are easily available.

Batteries placement very important

I could not get my camera to turn on or recognize any power and even tried 2 sets of brand new batteries. I was getting so frustrated until I finally got ahold of a chat employee and he pointed out that the batteries go in a very specific way that a lot of people miss! I was so embarrassed but I’m just glad my camera is now working and can use it. The batteries alternate positive, negative, positive, negative. Even looking at the manual it was still easily missed bc I didn’t realize the + side could touch the prong. Hope this is helpful to anyone else with the same problem I was having, thought I was sent a broken camera at first!

Recently I ordered the Instax Wide 300 online. I must admit that this Fuji instant camera has an eye for amazing picture quality. This has been currently my favorite for clicking portraits. It provides an impeccable image quality instantly. Focus is fast (although not as fast as a good DSLR). Focus peaking on these instant cameras by Fuji is absolutely better than we get with other brands. The smart LCD Monochrome screen lends a touch of class to its already delightful retro design. I recently upgraded from the Fujifilm Instax 210; the Wide 300 has a far better menu system, greater resolution and keeps all the great features of a good instant camera.

I spent a quite bit of time trying the Instax Wide 300 that I borrowed from my friend. My friend was going gaga over the retro look and feel of the phone along with amazing features. I must say this new Fuji instant camera is very impressive and compact. I personally believe that instant cameras always deliver the goods. This one comes with a plethora of features to rejuvenate your photography skills. Yes, it does come with a reasonable number of hits vs. misses. And really, it's still quite better than many other cameras in its price range. Definitely give it try, it does not disappoint.

Fujifilm has always been a preferred name as they provide the top-notch quality with features. The Instax Wide 300 surely does not disappoint. I bought it a week back on my friend's recommendation. The best thing about this Fuji instant camera is the option ring around the lens to control the two-zone focusing system. The built-in tripod socket in the bottom and the flash easily brightens up a scene, even in a low light surrounding to deliver amazing instant images. The close-up adapter also comes pretty handy at times. It also provides you an option to tweak the light and exposure with the "lighten" and "darken" settings.

The new Instax Wide 300 camera itself is basically the same in terms of the features as the Mini cameras.But the retro styling definitely sets it apart from the other products in the market. I was recently gifted this Fuji instant camera by my sister and I have been glued to it ever since. The mini cameras had very minimalistic shots that also compromised on quality. However, the shots that come out of this one are roughly twice the size as the mini film. I have been studying photography for a couple of years now and would highly recommend this camera for the budding enthusiasts and professional photographers alike.
