Overview

Step into professional photography or videography with the Fujifilm X-T3 Mirrorless Digital Camera. It comes with Fujifilm XF 18–55mm zoom lens. The camera is equipped with a 26.1 MP APS-C X-Trans BSI CMOS 4 sensor that works with the X-Processor 4 engine to render crystal clear images and videos. As an upgrade from the X-T2, the Fujifilm X-T3 provides UHD 4K videos at a frame rate of 60 fps. In the continuous shooting mode, the camera can take burst shots at 11 fps for up to 145 JPEG frames. The F-Log Gamma recording preserves the image information for giving more control over the image look than standard picture profiles. Transfer photos to smartphones or tablets with the built-in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth 4.2 LE. The dual SD card slots double the overall shooting time of the camera. As the camera chassis is built from magnesium alloy, it can be carried comfortably without putting a strain on your hands. Moreover, the weather-resistant sealing protects the internal parts of the camera from dust and moisture.

Optics and Focus

The Fujifilm XF 18–55mm zoom lens is designed to take wide-angle as well as close-up shots. Other X-series lenses can also be mounted on the camera. The lens construction includes 14 elements in 10 groups that use three aspherical and a single Extra-low Dispersion element to reduce spherical and chromatic aberrations. The linear AF motor ensures quiet and quick autofocusing. With the optical image stabilization, the lens reduces the effects of camera shakes when shooting handheld. The 7-blade diaphragm offers smooth bokeh quality to improve the overall depth of field. The camera’s focusing system includes 2.16m-points that almost cover the image frame to attain accurate focus on the moving object.

Sensor and Screen

The Fujifilm X-T3 uses the with a 26.1 MP APS-C X-Trans BSI CMOS 4 sensor for the imaging purpose. With the low-pass filter omitted, the sensor renders images having enhanced sharpness. Also, the X-Trans design creates the organic feel of film rolls with vivid colors and smooth tonal gradations. The 3.0-inch 1.04m-dot LCD has a 3-way tilting design that facilitates shooting from different angles. Also, the LCD's touchscreen functionality allows you to browse through various menus with ease. With the OLED viewfinder, you get a live view of the scene in 2.36m-dot resolution to enable exposure adjustment from the eye-level position. The EVF has a maximum refresh rate of 100 fps that minimizes lag when making fast pan and tilt movements.

Image and Video

The Fuji X-T3 clicks still shots with a maximum resolution of 6240×4160 pixels in JPEG and RAW formats. Shoot in stunning UHD 4K at a maximum frame rate of 60 fps. The continuous shooting is possible at 11 fps using the mechanical shutter, while the electronic shutter provides a maximum burst rate of 30 fps. The X-Processor 4 engine speeds up the camera performance to support the UHD video recording and continuous shooting. Use the Film Simulation modes to give the unique look of classic Fujifilm rolls to the images and videos.

Other Features

The Fujifilm X-T3 embodies both Bluetooth 4.2 LE and Wi-Fi to let you share images with friends via smartphones and control the camera remotely. With the dual SD card slots, you can shoot extended shooting. The camera has a hot shoe and PC terminal for attaching an external electronic flash and flashbulb respectively. An external microphone can be used connected to the 1/8-inch audio-in port for recording sound. You also get to monitor the sound using the provided headphone jack. The X-T3 comes with a magnesium alloy chassis with critical points sealed to keep dust and moisture at bay. This new Fujifilm camera works on an NP-W126S Li-ion battery pack.

The individual pieces of glass that form the overall optical construction. Most lenses have between four and eleven elements to bend the light rays to ensure a perfectly formed image appears on the light sensitive surface, such as a film or CCD. The elements are arranged in groups and may be seen in specification sheets as, for example, 6 elements in 4 groups. That configuration may have two single elements and the other four grouped in pairs.
