overview

The Fujifilm X-T100 Mirrorless Camera retains the classic Fuji design while packing advanced features like UHD 4K recording and wireless connectivity. This Fuji camera supports working with all X-series lenses. The X-T100 features the 24.2 MP APS-C CMOS sensor to offer crystal clear imagery in both bright and low light. Along with 24 MP single shots, the camera takes burst images at a speed of 6 fps. You can also use the 4K continuous shooting mode of 15 fps. Both the OLED viewfinder and 3.0-inch touchscreen LCD provide a convenient composition in the photo and video modes. The advanced AR mode enables point-and-shoot photography by automatically adjusting the camera settings. Various features like film simulation modes and creative filters present ample creative choices before you. A dedicated grip is supplied with the camera to offer a firm hold.

Optics and Focus

The X-T100 mirrorless camera accepts Fujifilm X-mount lenses. You can select one of the three exposure metering methods: average, multi-zone, and spot. The advanced scene recognition mode adjusts the exposure automatically to allow hassle-free working. This Fujifilm camera features the hybrid autofocus system that includes up to 91 contrast and phase detection points to ensure precise autofocus and subject tracking. The X-T100 incorporates both mechanical and electronic shutter options. Of these, the former is used for obtaining crisp results of fast moving objects, while the latter remains silent during image capture. The camera offers an expanded ISO range of 100–51200 to allow working in various lighting conditions.

Sensor and Screen

The 24.2 MP APS-C CMOS sensor sits at the heart of the Fujifilm X-100. It provides accurate color recognition, whether taking images under the sun or a street lamp. The 3.0-inch, 1.04m-dot LCD has a three-way tilting design to allow scene compositions from different angles. Also, its touchscreen functionality makes it easy to access various camera functions. The 2.36m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder is also included in the camera body for eye-level shooting. It provides 0.62× magnification of the actual image and adjustable diopter of -4 to +2 m.

Image and Video

The Fuji X-T100 takes 20 MP still shots in 6000×4000 pixels and records UHD 4K videos at 15 fps. You can also select the 1080p recording option to capture videos at approximately 60 fps. The film simulation modes, such as Astia and PRO Neg, give the classic look of famous Fujifilm rolls. Advanced filter modes like toy camera and pop color make your photography experience unique whenever you hold the camera. The multi-focus mode combines differently focused exposures to create a composite image with an extended depth of field. You may also shoot time-lapse sequences with the interval timer.

Other Features

The Fujifilm X-100 digital camera allows you to transfer photos to smartphones via the built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi options. Take well-illuminated pictures with the built-in flash that has a guide number of 16.4 feet at ISO 100. You may also attach an external flash to the hot shoe. Both the integrated and external strobes synchronize with the shutter at 1/180th of a second. The classic Fujifilm body, along with a detachable grip, allows you to handle the camera with ease. The camera takes up to 430 shots on a single charge of the NP-W126S Li-ion battery.
