The B+W 82mm MRC 701M Soft-Edge Graduated Neutral Density 0.3 Filter is the right accessory for your lens when shooting in bright conditions. This filter has a graduated pattern and a filter factor of 2× that brings down exposure by 1 stop. The soft-edge line ensures a smooth transition from clear to dark regions. This filter is made of an optical glass with an eight-layer anti-reflection coating applied to reduce ghosting and internal reflections. Also, a Multi-Resistant Coating (MRC) is added to protect the filter substrate from environmental elements. This filter glass is encased in a durable, F-Pro brass ring that can be rotated for positioning the gradation.
