  • Bending Light: Steampunk Edition with Larry Leone
    Instructor:
    Larry Leone
    Skill Level:
    Everyone

Shooting corporate/commercial photography in NYC has taught Larry Leone how to set up production quality lighting in some of the most cramped, poorly lit spaces and how to do it quickly. These are the same techniques he uses on beauty and glamour portraits. In this hands-on workshop we’re going to combine two of Larry’s favorite interests: Lighting and Steampunk.

Using inexpensive equipment, we’ll capture production quality images in the “kill it and bill it” style prevalent in the New York market. We’ll use studio strobes and speedlites, maybe even mixing the two. In this workshop, we’ll also discuss using a meter and metering on the fly. With Larry’s straightforward, light-hearted teaching style, this promises to be an enjoyable and informative event.

We’ll learn how to light and shoot models in Steampunk fashion and styling. We have a great model line-up, a professional Makeup Artist, Steampunk fashion and one-of-a-kind, handmade accessories.  This is a fantastic opportunity to get some great images for your portfolio!

Be sure to register early, space is limited.
