Connect a VideoMic Go to a TRRS compatible device with the Rode SC7 3.5mm TRS to TRRS Patch Cable. It is a high-quality shielded patch cable with gold-plated contacts and are color coded. The red color jack indicates the TRS input and the gray jack indicates the TRRS output. The TRS jack has to be connected to the rear of the VideoMic Go while the TRRS end (gray) attaches to the smartphone’s headphone jack.
