overview

The Panasonic TS7D Waterproof Camera lets you capture memorable underwater moments. It has a built-in Lumix DC Vario 4.6× lens with intelligent zoom functions. The Panasonic TS7A’s waterproof body ensures safe functioning up to 101.7 feet below water. Also, the shock- and impact-resistant chassis makes the camera ideal for adventures. The camera uses a 20.4 MP MOS sensor to capture high-quality pictures and UHD 4K videos in low light. With this camera, you can take full-resolution continuous shots at 10 fps and 8 MP 4K burst images at 30 fps. The POWER O.I.S. ensures that your handheld videos and stills are less blurry. The 3.0-inch LCD offers crystal clear viewing with the automatic brightness adjustment function. With the built-in Wi-Fi, you can easily send pictures to synched smartphones or tablets. Use the front LED as a flashlight when working in extremely dark conditions. The camera captures approximately 300 shots with the rear LCD and 250 shots with the electronic viewfinder on a single charge of a 1250 mAh Li-ion battery.

Optics and Focus

The integrated Lumix DC Vario lens in this Panasonic camera offers 4.6× optical zoom with an expandable limit of 9×. You can set the maximum aperture to f/3.3 on wide settings and f/5.9 on telephoto settings. The lens has 10 optical elements in 8 groups, and of these, 5 correct spherical aberrations. The Extra Optical Zoom function lets you use the in-camera cropping and intelligent zoom features. You get smooth movements while shooting handheld, thanks to the POWER O.I.S. Boost the native ISO of 3200 to 6400 to brighten images in low light. The AF-S and AF modes track subjects accurately to keep them in focus. Adjust the focus point after taking pictures with the post-focus function.

Sensor and Screen

This Panasonic camera is built around a 20.4 MP MOS sensor that is highly sensitive to light. The 3.0-inch LCD lets you compose scenes in a 1.04m-dot resolution. A tempered glass is placed on the screen to protect it from impacts. The automatic brightness adjustment makes it easy to view the screen in both bright and low lighting. Capture photos from eye level with the help of the 1.17m-dot Live View Finder.

Image and Video

The Panasonic TS7A takes images with the highest resolution of 5184×3888 pixels in the JPEG format. It can also record UHD 4K videos at 30 fps. A 60 fps frame rate is available for Full HD 1080p recording to create slow-motion effects in an editing software. The camera captures full-resolution burst shots at 10 fps. You may also choose the faster 30 fps continuous shooting option for 8 MP 4K shots. The Panasonic TS7A comes with various creative control modes and scene guides.
