Overview
The Sigma DG Macro 70–300mm f/4–5.6 Lens gives crisp optical results throughout the zoom range. This Sony A-mount lens can be fitted to both Sony and Minolta 35mm film and digital SLR cameras. It comes with 14 elements arranged in 10 groups. A Special Low Dispersion element is incorporated into the lens design for correcting chromatic aberrations. The lens elements have a special coating that maintains the color balance as well as minimizes ghosting. This lens can autofocus on an object from a minimum distance of 59.1 inches. The 9-blade diaphragm produces a truly circular bokeh. You can use the focal range between 200mm to 300mm for macro photography. A 58mm circular filter can be attached to the front thread.
