Ever want to just throw your camera? I know I have... The fad of free-throwing your camera mid-exposure might have had it's time, but perhaps it inspired this concept of a throwable camera created by the folks at Serveball. The unconventional camera developers have created a ball that's capable of capturing stabilized, full spherical 360° photography and video. The camera ball is covered with multiple lenses and has software that can stitch together landscapes, and even video for full spherical panoramas without getting a case the spins. The ball camera will come in two flavors: The regular Squito and Darkball which allows sight in night/dark/smoke/fog and can transmit near-infrared and thermal video wirelessly. These ball-inspired cameras aren't necessarily new, but they sure do look impressive. There's no word as to when the Squito and Darkball will be available for sale, but we'll be sure to let you know when we do find out!
